RAM & SSD Availability Update: Why Many Products Are Temporarily Out of Stock

A volatile market for memory and storage

Customers browsing our PC hardware selection may have noticed that many of our RAM and SSD products are currently listed as Out of Stock.

This is intentional.

The memory and storage markets have experienced unusually large and rapid price changes, affecting both DRAM and NAND flash products. Supplier pricing and availability have become significantly less predictable, making it difficult to maintain the combination of competitive pricing and reliable sourcing that we want for our customers.

Rather than continually raising prices or listing products at levels we don't believe offer good value, we've temporarily reduced availability across much of our RAM and SSD selection.

What happens next?

We're continuing to monitor supplier pricing and availability. Products will gradually return to stock when we can source them at prices that allow us to offer them at a level we're comfortable putting on Swtek.

Other areas of the Swtek catalog remain available as normal, including PC accessories, adapters, peripherals and gaming products.
